さてさて、今回の松山の講師紹介はNico！

日本でやりたいことは？日本に来るまではどんなことをしてたの？🤔
Hello!! my name is Nicholas Moore. My friends and family call me Nico.
I have done a lot of traveling and have worked mostly with youth in different ways. I have taken high school students on two-week-long trips to Italy, Mexico, California, England, Germany and France.
I also reunited children with their families who were separated at the southern American border. I have lived in Hawai`i for three years as well as Alaska for three years. Most recently, I spent one month in Nicaragua to study Spanish in February 2025.
I am happy to be living and working in Japan and love the people of Matsuyama. I would like to purchase an akiya in Japan and convert it to a place where Japanese students can host international students. My hope is that together they can work on solutions to our biggest problems locally and globally. This is a long-term vision and I plan on building a network. I`m happy to begin this project in Japan.
For my personal time, I enjoy being outdoors doing activities like swimming, SUP (stand-up paddle board), and camping. I used to rockclimb but have not found a rockgym in a while. I would like to learn to sail a boat and fly a plane in the near future.
My advice for students learning or who want to learn English is to make mistakes fast and often. Having the courage to take risks is necessary to learn a language quickly. My degree is in English Language Learners Studies and I know the best way to learn a language is through immersion. This means to surround yourself with English as much as you can. I encourage everyone to use whatever means they can to get English input and, if you can travel, do it!
