６月もいよいよ明日で最後ですね…

明後日からは７月になりますが、いよいよ本格的な夏が始まろうとしています(>_<)

さて、今日はアメリカ出身のTimよりアメリカでの夏の過ごし方を聞いてみたので、以下でご紹介いたしますね♪♪

This is Tim from JR Ibaraki Nova!

It seems that summer has arrived so I hope you’re all doing well and staying cool.
One of the most popular holidays in the USA is Independence Day, also known as the 4th of July.
Most of you probably imagine that it is a day that people in the US set of fireworks and have barbecues, which is true, however, when I was young, it was one of my favorite holidays because I often went camping for 4 or 5 days. My family and some of our friends would find a quiet spot beside a lake or a river and set up a few tents, then we’d go fishing, swimming, play some outdoor games, and set off some fireworks.
It was summer vacation so I didn’t have to worry about school and since I wasn’t at home, I had no house chores to do. It was always a really fun and relaxing time.

筆者はあまりキャンプに行ったことが無いので、いつかは友達や家族と行ってみたいものです!(^^)!

アメリカと日本のキャンプを比較するのも、文化の違いを知ることができるので興味深いですね(^^♪
