Hello!
This is Tim from JR Ibaraki Nova!
It seems that summer has arrived so I hope you’re all doing well and staying cool.
One of the most popular holidays in the USA is Independence Day, also known as the 4th of July.
Most of you probably imagine that it is a day that people in the US set of fireworks and have barbecues, which is true, however, when I was young, it was one of my favorite holidays because I often went camping for 4 or 5 days. My family and some of our friends would find a quiet spot beside a lake or a river and set up a few tents, then we’d go fishing, swimming, play some outdoor games, and set off some fireworks.
It was summer vacation so I didn’t have to worry about school and since I wasn’t at home, I had no house chores to do. It was always a really fun and relaxing time.If you have some free time, please stop in to JR Ibaraki for a lesson and let me know what you like to do in summer vacation. I’m looking forward to seeing you!
Have a great summer!
Tim
