10 Cafes You Should Visit in Los Angeles
Los Angeles is not just famous for Hollywood and the beach—it’s also full of amazing cafes. If you love good coffee, cool vibes, and tasty treats, LA is the place to be. When I visited in May, I had the chance to stop by some of my favorite spots. So in this blog, I want to share 10 cafes you should visit the next time you’re in LA.
1. Alfred Coffee
Their slogan is “But first, coffee,” and this place is super popular on Instagram. The latte art is always on point, and the shop has a stylish, modern look.
2. Blue Bottle Coffee
Originally from the Bay Area, Blue Bottle has made a big name in LA. The coffee is smooth and strong, and the minimalist design feels very “California cool.”
3. Verve Coffee Roasters
Verve is known for its bright, plant-filled interiors. It’s a great spot to chill with a cold brew or catch up on reading.
4. Maru Coffee
If you’re into simple, high-quality drinks, Maru is perfect. They’re very careful about the beans they use, and the vibe is calm and relaxing.
5. Menotti’s Coffee Stop
This place has a more old-school, cozy feeling, and they make amazing flat whites and cortados. Plus, the baristas really know their stuff.
6. Coffee Commissary
This cafe has several locations around LA. Their coffee is bold and flavorful, and they always have good pastries to go with it.
7. Intelligentsia Coffee (Silver Lake)
One of the OG (original) specialty coffee spots in LA. The Silver Lake location has a fun, artsy atmosphere and a strong espresso game.
8. Urth Caffé
Urth is famous for its organic coffee and beautiful latte art. You can also grab delicious food here, like salads, pizzas, and cakes.
9. Go Get Em Tiger
With a name like that, you know it’s going to be fun. The menu is creative, and they serve some of the best almond milk lattes in the city.
10. La La Land Kind Café
This cheerful cafe has a mission to spread kindness, and you feel it the moment you walk in. Bright yellow cups, positive messages, and yummy drinks make it a must-visit.
Los Angeles has so many great cafes, it’s hard to choose just one. Whether you’re looking for strong coffee, a cute atmosphere, or a good place to people-watch, LA’s cafe scene has something for everyone. If you ever get the chance to visit, try one (or all!) of these spots and enjoy the chill California lifestyle.
