6月に入り、そろそろ雨のシーズン到来ですね( ;∀;)
本日は、イギリスにも「Rainy season」があるのか
先生達に聞いてみました😊
Hello, everyone! How are you enjoying the weather at the moment?
In the UK we have our rainy reason in April, lovingly known as
April Showers.Rain in the UK is a little different to the rain in Japan.
Our rain is often cold and windy, so we usually don`t use umbrellas.
We use raincoats and welly boots.
Also, we have varying levels of rain,
typically we have light rain known as spitting.
In the UK we use an idiom to talk about heavy rain,
which is known as raining cats and dogs.
It originates in London referring to rain flooding the streets and washing away the stray cats and dogs.
Do you guys like rain?
Charlie loves thunderstorms
and Elizabeth loves the smell of rain.
So, remember to bring your umbrellas out and about this month,
but leave them at home if you visit the UK!
きっと風が強いため傘をさすことができないんでしょうね😓
UKに行った時は、地元の人と同じように
レインコートと長靴で外出しましょう！
