今回はアメリカのハロウィンについて、講師のGrant先生が教えてくれました！
日本のハロウィンといえば、Trick or Treatや仮装、ハロウィンパーティーのイメージがありますね🎃👻

Trick-or-treating：
Halloween is mostly for children. Trick-or-treating is the main event of the Halloween holiday. The trick-or-treat time window is listed in every local newspaper in every town. The Halloween holiday is mostly a children’s celebration. Kids are excited about dressing up as different Halloween characters and going to get treating. I wanted to be a transformer (Amercan Gundam) in second grade. Is trick-or-treating getting popular in your neighborhood?
Pumpkin festivals：
Pumpkin-growing competitions are popular in America. My hometown, Circleville, Ohio, has the most famous pumpkin growing competition in the state of Ohio. Ask me how heavy the biggest pumpkin is!!!!!!
Halloween at work：
Many people enjoy dressing up for Halloween for work as well. A lot of my co-workers arrived at the office looking like zombies, witches and celebrities. Would you go to work dressed in a Halloween costume for a day?
Pumpkin patch：
This is what we call a small field of growing pumpkins. About the size of a typical rice field in Japan, customers can walk through the pumpkin patch and cut any pumpkin from the vine that they would like to buy.
