本日も、Caileeの夏休みの思い出をご紹介致します。ご家族が来日されて、一緒に旅行にも行ったそうです。たくさんの思い出を書いてくれたのでちょっとずつご紹介致しますので、ぜひご覧くださいませ。

The next day, we went to Kyoto by Shinkansen. My family was very excited to see the traditional side of Japan and explore a new area. When we got to Kyoto, we stayed in a traditional Japanese style home near the river. The home had a sliding door, four futon beds, a low table, and low chairs. The floor was also different too from modern style Japanese homes. It was a very different lifestyle compared to an American style home. I was very happy to stay in this type of home. However, my family was not used to sleeping on futons and eating at a very low table. It took a couple days for them to get used to. Eventually, they were grateful to have experienced it.
