ということで、今回はフィリピン人講師Carla（カーラ）より春のイベントに関わるエッセイをご紹介します🤗🌟
Hi, everybody!
It’s spring time already! What do you like about this season? Aside from cherry blossoms, what I’m looking forward to is strawberry picking! It was in 2014 when I first had my all-you-can-eat strawberry experience here in Japan. I remember vividly how happy I was to experience it! It wasn’t my first time to harvest strawberries though.
There’s a city in the Philippines known as “The Summer Capital of the Philippines” – Baguio City. A lot of people go to Baguio in summer for it is one of, if not the only, coldest places in the country. That’s the reason why they cater different strawberry produce nationwide. From jams to craft beer to cakes to taho (made of silken-tofu and tapioca). I hope you’re excited about strawberries as much as I am!
