≪Welcome to Akita Part2≫
今回ご紹介するのは
【YOKOTE Snow Festival】
Dates February 15th and 16th every year
開催日毎年2月15日、16日
It is a traditional Lunar New Year event that enshrines the god of water, which has been passed down for 450 years in Yokote City, Akita Prefecture.😊
秋田県横手市に450年受け継がれている、
水神様をまつる伝統的な小正月行事です。
You can enjoy the atmosphere of a snowy country where local children treat visitors with amazake (sweet sake) and mochi (rice cakes)
in a kamakura made of snow.👧
雪で作られたかまくらで、地元の子どもたちが来場者を
甘酒やお餅でもてなすという雪国情緒を楽しめます
In addition, there is a mini kamakura making experience, a photo session, a 5-meter-high, 30-kg bonden dedication by men (Asahi Okayama Shrine Bonten dedication festival), and volunteers from each town.
There are also various events such as the Den Contest.👦
また、ミニかまくら作り体験や撮影会、
高さ5m・重さ30㎏のぼんでんをかけ声とともに男たちが担いでいくぼんでん奉納（旭岡山神社梵天奉納祭）、
各町や有志によるぼんでんコンクールなど様々なイベントもあります。
≪How to make a kamakura≫
かまくらの作り方
1.pile up snow
A circle with a diameter of about 3.5m is drawn, and the snow is piled up in it.
直径約3.5mの円を描いてその中に雪を積み上げ、
踏み固めながら3mくらいの高さに積み重ねていきます。💦
2.Drilling
Mark 1.3m long and 0.7m wide at the front entrance and start digging.
Leave a wall thickness of 50 cm and dig a lot inside.
正面入口部分に縦1.3m、横0.7mの印をつけ、穴を掘り始めます。
壁の厚さを50cm残し、内部を大きく掘り上げます。❄❄
3.finish
Smooth and round the inner and outer walls.
Finally, make a Shinto altar in front of the inside and it is completed.
内側と外側の壁になる部分を滑らかに丸く仕上げます。
最後に、内部の正面に神棚を作って完成です。⛄
