クリスマスの過ごし方について聞きました❕❕❕🎅🎄

Every year during Christmas I am usually back stateside (pre pandemic). During the holiday season I fly back to San Francisco before Thanksgiving in late November because my grandmothers birthday is a few days after Thanksgiving. I would usually stay til after New Years since Christmas is just 3 weeks after and New Years is a week following.
During Christmas time, I usually spend Christmas Eve trying to see most of my family. I don’t get to see my Hawaiian side of my family during this time and they usually come out to mainland around early December. Growing up we would all get together in the very northern part of California in the mountains where my uncle had a vacation cabin. We would have a early Christmas with them there for the weekend. Christmas eve I would end up spending seeing the rest of my family that lives mainland. I would split my time so that in the morning I would go see my mother, then in the afternoon I would go see my grandmother and brother. After in the late afternoon to evening I would go to see a few of my Aunts. uncles and cousins that would get together for dinner since Christmas day they would all spend it with just their families for the most part.
Christmas day I usually wake up early and head out to go to my grandfathers grave. My grandfather passed away when I was 13 and he was more or less my father figure growing up. He was born on Christmas day, so when I was younger we would be celebrating Christmas and his birthday and all of the family would be there. After his passing we didn’t really have big gatherings at my grandparents house. So after he passed I would go visit him at his grave by myself every year. I used it as a way to celebrate his birthday but to also tell him about my whole year. I would get there about 10am and end up staying sometimes until 6 or 8pm at the latest. During Christmas time is the hardest for me because that’s the time I use and have to spend with him at his grave. I go to visit my family more so to try and make my family happy by coming around and spending time with them.
Its not as happy of a holiday story, but this is how I usually spend my Christmas back in America.
