English Culture: Rave scene
In England the rest of the UK, the music scene is a big part of the culture. Specifically, the rave scene is one aspect that has been a prominent existence for decades. Genres along the lines of drum and bass, garage and so on, these events are extremely popular. Those who attend are typically the type of person to have an abundance of energy and love for the music. Ages range anywhere from teens to middle aged people. Types of raves can range from a shed in someone’s garden to a warehouse in a field somewhere. This is an idea of the scale of popularity as it shows that anyone and everyone can organise their own event if they are capable.
These events are typically a one night event, but there are some who are hardcore enough to extend the time and continue to rave for days after the initial start time/day. This is the scale of people’s potential energy they are able to use for these events. Fueled by alcohol and the adrenaline that their love for music provides is enough to keep them at it for hours on end (although it is key to keep hydrated as you will sweat like a hound!).
I myself have participated in many raves before and it is a truly intoxicating feeling getting lost in the music and do nothing but purely enjoy the atmosphere and have a great time with the friends I went with.
As fun as it is and as much as I recommend the experience, I will warn you all that it can get pretty crazy so proceed with caution to an extent! But all in all, have fun!

日本だとお琴や能、歌舞伎踊などのイメージがあり、
すごくおしとやかなイメージがありますが、海外の音楽文化となると全く別世界なようですね😳
