地元ルイジアナ州（アメリカ）のお祭り自慢😊
Hi, everyone !
I am from Louisiana in the United States.
It’s in the Southeast, and like Japan, we have many festivals.
As Louisiana is famous for its food, and so, most of our festivals are about food.
One of the biggest festivals is Mardi Gras.
It is a catholic holiday celebrated before Lent,
even though many non-Catholics celebrate it as well.
During this time, we hold parades and eat king cake.
In April, there is the strawberry festival.
We eat many things with Strawberry as the focus.
So many places sell strawberry shortcake as a result.
Just as we celebrate food, we celebrate music.
Jazz music comes from Louisiana, and in late April to early May,
Jazz Fest. is held in New Orleans, where jazz bands play music for days in a row.
There is almost always some holiday or festival happening in Louisiana.
