4月になり10日が経ちました！お天気も良く暑い日が続いていますね🌞
そんな4月は、海外ではEasterの時期です！
Easterとはどんなお祭りなのでしょうか？
海外ではどんなことを行うのでしょうか？

Easter is a holiday that is celebrated every Spring.
It is a Christian holiday to celebrate the day that Jesus Christ came back from the dead.
Even though Easter is a Christian holiday, many non-Christians celebrate it now, too.
That’s because many Easter traditions are fun to do, especially for children.
Many of the things that we do to celebrate Easter were actually started a long time before Christianity.
Many popular symbols of Easter were used to celebrate the coming of Spring, like eggs and rabbits.
These symbols were brought into the Christian holiday when Christianity moved into these areas, but people still wanted to celebrate their old traditions.
Some things we do to celebrate include:
-Easter Egg Hunts, where children search for colorful, hidden eggs with candy inside,
-Easter baskets, which are baskets full of treats and toys that parents leave for children and say that “The Easter Bunny brought.”
-Coloring easter eggs, which is where you take hard-boiled eggs and dye them in beautiful colors.
-Many Christians also go to Church on Easter.
-Some families like to eat lamb on Easter (or a cake shaped like a lamb), because Jesus is called “the Lamb of God”.
Easter is not on the same day every year because it is one of many Christian holidays called “moveable feasts”. The day depends on the lunar cycle. It doesn’t line up with the regular calendar, so that’s why the day changes.
In Western Christianity, using the Gregorian calendar, Easter always falls on a Sunday between 22 March and 25 April.
