卒業式が終わり、新生活の準備で忙しい時期ですね🌸
日本では3月に卒業式が行われますが海外ではどうでしょう？
日本と同じ？？卒業式の雰囲気は？
アメリカ出身のJohnに、アメリカの大学の卒業式の様子をインタビューしました！
It’s graduation time so let me tell you the way we do it in American universities.
We start planning weeks in advance, by ordering graduation gowns and reserving tickets for families and friends. I showed up early and I got photos with my fellow classmates and the professors that helped me reach that point in time. We were later given our order of march, so we will be called in an organized fashion and no one looks bad. When it came to the start of the ceremony I almost fell asleep listening to all the speeches. Finally, they called us up to receive our diploma. Afterwards, we ate and the ones old enough continued the party!
Congrats to all of you who either graduated or are moving to a higher grade. Pleases don’t take your education for granted as it is the key to a better future!
アメリカでは6月が卒業シーズン🎓
約2か月の長い夏休みを経て9月から新年度が始まります👀
日本同様に、スピーチなどがあり、話が長く眠くなってしまうなんてこともあるみたいですが、日本と違ってラフな雰囲気で行われるようです！
スピーチの後は卒業証書を受け取ったらそのままみんなでパーティを楽しむようですね✨
