After the Holidays

　After Christmas it always seemed like the family had to get the Christmas decorations down immediately but I always liked them to stay up. It seems almost as if it was taboo in America to leave them up past New Years. For that reason New Years was almost bleak and even had chores some year. Not to mention the dread of school starting shortly after.

I think if I have a family we’ll keep the decorations up just a little longer so after school starts there is still some holiday glow when life adjusts back to normal.
