Hello everyone!
Did you feel the earthquake last weekend? It was a bit worrying, wasn’t it? I was woken up by the warning alarm on my wife’s smartphone. I think the alarm was more scary than the actual earthquake!
We don’t usually have earthquakes in the UK. In fact, I had never felt an earthquake until I moved to Japan. I remember I was really excited and looking forward to it! Do you remember the first time that you ever felt an earthquake? What was your reaction?
I remember that there was an earthquake during one of my lessons when I had just joined Nova. The previous office was a bit old, so the whole building shook a lot. However, I was really surprised at how calm everyone was and that we just continued the lesson as normal. It made me realize that for Nagasaki students earthquakes are pretty normal.
