My Childhood Christmas Memories
When I was a child my parents always did their best to make Christmas time special for the whole family. We even had a tree decorating ceremony. We had snacks would take the tree we had cut down and bring it in the house. Christmas really changes the whole atmosphere in America. It’s not just the decorations it’s some needed time off and with the family.
As and as children fought over which ornaments to hang. Our favorite was the Victorian style gumball machine. My parents had to then break up the fights I had with my younger brother. When we were really young my dad would have to be at work on Christmas day at 6 AM in the morning. So to keep Christmas morning special and not prolong the wait of opening gifts we woke up at 4 AM to open presents! Of course no child would complain with having Christmas extra-early even if was earlier than the sunrise.
