キラキラのイメージとはちょっと違うクリスマスとは…？🧐
Christmas In Montana
Many people say they dream of a white Christmas, but in some mid western states of America that dream is more of a nightmare. Montana for instance normally gets their first snow around Halloween and that snow doesn’t go away until march at the earliest. The biggest problem however is the freezing temperatures. Once the temperature hits around minus 15 degrees cars start to freeze over preventing them from starting properly. If you can eventually get your car running and warmed up you then must brave the curvy mountain ice roads to the stores to buy your Christmas supplies.
Amazon is a popular choice to avoid the dangerous drives to the store but even amazon delivery vehicles cant reach some homes higher up in the mountains. In a way people prepare to be trapped at home with their families during the holiday season. This is great for bonding time but not best for many workers. Lucky the majority of stores and business close at this point of the year so people can relax at home with their family’s and celebrate the festivities.
