本日は、Brendan先生にアメリカのお酒についてお話をして頂きました🍻
アメリカと日本の文化の違いが面白すぎます🧐
それではさっそく一緒に見てみましょう👀✨

Just like in Japan (and the rest of the world), alcohol is very popular in the US. There are many different drinks to choose from in the US, and some drinks have a long history. The places for drinking are also a little different in the US.

Drinking in bars is very popular in the US. One reason is that it is actually illegal to drink outside, unless it is at an outdoor event or your own house. Bars also sometimes have outdoor drinking space, but it is always part of the bar.

At the bar, most people usually stand up to drink. There might be some tall tables to lean on, but lots of people stand in the bar area. This means that most food is eaten with the fingers. There are many great bar foods in the US, like mozzarella sticks, spicy chicken wings, and nachos. These foods don’t require any forks or knives to eat, so they are good for a bar.

Also, standing means that there is a lot of space to move around and meet new people. You can walk around and find someone interesting to talk to. Or, you can stay at the bar counter and avoid talking to anyone. Both are common in the US.

The choice of drinks is also a little different than in Japan. Most people drink beer, but there are a lot more European style beers to choose. There are also many cocktails to choose, many of which were actually invented in the US. Unfortunately, Japanese plum wine is not so popular in the US, so it is rare…

アメリカは立ち飲みが主流なのです！！
もちろんバーカウンターで座っても飲むこともできるということですが😉
よくよく考えてみると、
洋画やドラマでも立って飲んでいることが多いなと感じますよね😳

また、アメリカでは21歳から飲酒が大丈夫なんです！！
他の国での飲める年齢が違うので、ご注意ください😣
