教えてくれます。
さて、一体どんな違いがあるのでしょう？

●Separated by an Ocean●
When I first moved to London, It took me a while
to get used to hearing and using British English.
The United States and The United Kingdom are considered
to be “two nations divided by an ocean and a common language”.
While more similar than different, there are some interesting distinctions
between our two countries’ versions of English.
For one thing, there are very many minor spelling differences
between our two countries: Behavior/Behaviour,Labor/Labour, Analyze/Analyse, Memorize/Memorise,and Color/Colour
are just a few examples of our respective spelling styles.
More notably, we both use different nouns
to label the same things.
For example, an American rents an apartment,
whereas a British person rents a flat.
British people go on “Summer holiday”,
while Americans go on “Summer vacation”.
When it’s cold outside or in,
An American will put on his or her “sweater”,
but a British person will go and get his or her “jumper”.
Though there are many differences,
the number of similarities is far greater.
Accidentally mixing up an American phrase for a British
will usually won’t result in being misunderstood,
so you don’t need to worry too much about that;
or as some may say in England “you needn’t worry”
