本日はKidsから大人気のClarence先生が
出身国Zimbabweの教育システムについて教えてくれました👓

In Zimbabwe we follow the British education systems.
The first level of formal education after Kindergarten is Primary school.
This is also known or referred to Elementary in American education system.
Primary school in Zimbabwe has 7 levels. After completion of grade 7,
students write an exam to qualify them to the next level.
The next level is Secoundary school.
This comprises of four years, Secoundary school system is from
form 1 to form 4 and also known as “O” level or Ordinary level.
To complete “O” level and to the next stage, one has to write exams.
After “O” level students who pass can either “A” level which means Advanced level.
“A” level is two years only. In “A” level students specialise
in different fields of study such as Science, Commercials and Arts.
After passing the “A” level exams student into University.
In Zimbabwe most of students like to write Cambridge exams
because they are internationally recignised by most prestigious Universities.
All subjects in Zimbabwe are taught in English.

Zimbabweの公用語にはもちろん英語は含まれていますが、
地方によって話されている言語が異なる場合があるようです！( ﾟДﾟ)
なので学校では基本的に「英語」ですべての授業がおこなわれているそうです😲
家族や友人とお話しするときも英語と交じりの会話になるんだとか！
