本日は遅ればせながら、8月より香川にやって来てくれたJames先生の紹介をしたいと思います☺
James先生本人が自己紹介を書いてくれました👏

Hello! My name is James and I am from Liverpool, England. It’s great to meet you all.
As anyone who has already taken my lessons will know my hobbies are watching movies, listening to music and studying Japanese. I can play bass guitar but haven’t practiced in a long time.
Oh, and my favorite food is Indian curry.
I guess I should talk about my home town. Liverpool is in the Northwest oh England and is famous for two things: The Beatles and Liverpool Football Club. Until recently Liverpool was also recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site but, due to a lot of new buildings being constructed, it was stripped oh its title, which is a shame.
So why did I leave Liverpool and move to Japan?
Well, I enjoy watching Japanese movies and anime and through them I became interested in learning to speak Japanese and in learning more about Japanese history, society, and culture. Often, when watching a movie or anime, there would be references to various historical figures, events, or folktales and so on. I wanted to be able to understand these references and through trying to find out more about them I became more interested in Japan.
Anyway, I have lived in Japan for about 2 years now and in Takamatsu about 2 months. Before moving to Takamatsu I also lived in Tokushima for 3 months. It’s been great so far but… learning Japanese is taking longer than I would like!
