また日本では夏休み明けの秋学期がスタート！
休みが終わってしまう寂しさと友達に会える嬉しさが
相まって何とも言えない休み明けを思い出しました…😢💭
本日はアメリカ出身Kenneth講師よりアメリカの学期について
お話を聞きました！(^^)/
September in Japan means a relief from the blazing summer temperatures and stifling humid weather.
In the United States, it’s not a happy event for everyone though. For all the students, it means the end of Summer Vacation! In the United States, school resumes in late August or early September, a bit later than Japan. But to make it worse, Summer Vacation started back in late June, about two months before, really letting the relaxation settle in. Add to that, the American school year ends right before summer vacation, so coming back in fall means moving up a grade to more difficult course work and higher expectations. Putting that all together, it’s easy to see why kids wish summer vacation would never end. That long reprieve from school, and often their final bit of freedom before moving on to a new school or different class, makes Summer Vacation a landmark event in every student’s year.
So while September marks the start of Back to School Sales for many department stores, for most kids and teens in the United States, it’s the start of the Back to School Blues!

しかし日本と大きく異なる点は、秋になるとアメリカの学校は…😳
