今回は、ながーーい間英語講師として勤務されてきた、
大ベテランの＜Robert＞です！
いくつかの質問に答えてもらいました！
①Where is your hometown?
I’m from Perth in Western Australia but I’ve spent almost half my life in Japan🗾. First in Suginami Ku then for the last 20 years in Nakano Ku. Sometimes when people ask me where I’m from, as a joke, I say I’m from Nakano.🤣
②What’s your hobby?
I’ve been playing the guitar 🎸since I was 15 and haven’t ever really stopped. These days I spend a lot of time recording and mixing music on my computer💻. My interest in music also extends into my interest in language and teaching!
③Which place would you like to recommend to the students?
As long as I’ve lived in Japan, Perth has been a popular place for some more experienced travelers. I recommend it for being able to watch the sun go down into the sea on a sandy white beach🌅. Recently quokkas have proved popular with visitors. If you don’t know what quokkas are try doing a search on the internet. You can only find them on a small island off the coast of Perth.
④What are you good at teaching in a lesson?
If you are interested we can use developing our speaking skills as a way to improve our listening skills🎧. By focusing on rhythm, stress, intonation and joining the sounds of English we can improve not only our communication skills but also our listening skills. Ask me!
⑤A comment to the students.
There are lots of ways to access English in Japan these days, but please try getting your head out of a book or away from a screen, get out of your room and come to say hello to us!

そしてただギターを弾くだけでなく、レコーディングやアレンジまで自分で行うほどの音楽好き😳
Apple製品も使いこなしていて、いつもiPadを持ち歩いてたり、
この前は自分でiPadのバッテリーを交換したって言ってました🤣
