梅雨が明けて快晴の香川です！
今年は珍しく梅雨らしい天気が続いてドンヨリでしたが、昨日から快晴が続いてます。
梅雨が明ける前にAlexは八栗山に登って途中で雨が降って怖かったそうです！
山道をハイキングしてるだけかと思ったら、ロープを使わないと登れないところもあるみたいです！ハイキングじゃなくて登山！😲🤣
Alexが長編で書いてくれたので、前編と後編に分けてご紹介します🤗
In my time in Japan I have climbed several mountains of various sizes. When holidaying in Tottori my friends and I climbed Mount Daisen. A tall mountain that is famous as a skiing destination for domestic travelers. My friend and I also climbed Mount Mitoku in Tottori, which was another challenging mountain. Recently, for Golden Week, my friends and I climbed Mount Ishizuchi in Ehime. Which is the Tallest mountain in west Japan. It`s fair to say that Mountain hiking is one of my favorite hobbies, and one that I had never done before coming to Japan. It is an opportunity that living on such a mountainous island throws at you.
When my friend told me that there is a mountain in Takamatsu called Mount Yakuri, and that it has a temple built halfway up, and that it has a secret route going right to the top of the mountain, I couldn’t help but gleefully accept his invitation to join him on an ascent.
After a short train ride from Kawaramachi Station, we arrived at Yakuri and made our way to the foot of the mountain. It was a hot and humid day and the ascent up to the temple at the middle the mountain was as beautiful as it was exhausting. The light-hearted comedy of friendship spurring my friend and I on further.
日本に来る以前からハイキングが趣味ってわけではなかったみたいですね😲
イギリスにも見晴らしのいい山や綺麗な自然がたくさんありそうなのに🏞
講師達がハイキングに行くので私も行ってみようかと思うのですが、車で山頂までいっちゃいますね😅
