本日はイギリス出身Arran先生が最近読んでいる本についてお話してくれました🧐
The Divine Comedy
I recently started reading a book that has really made me think about my life, my actions, my behaviour, attitudes and beliefs.
It is called The Divine Comedy. It was written by Dante. It is a very long poem.
It’s a metaphor for the soul’s journey to salvation. A soul must acknowledge sin, repent, and then come to know God.
That is what I hope and plan to do now.
There are three parts to this book; Hell, Purgatory, and Paradise. I think you know what Hell and Paradise mean. However, Purgatory is a more difficult and unfamiliar word to most people. To be honest, I don’t know what it means. But I look forward to learning.
I don’t know if there is a Japanese translation on the market, but if there is I highly recommend you check it out.
