Celebrations
For Independence days, Britain celebrates the Guy Fawkes night on November 5 while America celebrates the Fourth of July on…you guessed it the 4th of July. Britain eats many pancakes for Pancake day on February 16. America celebrates Thanksgiving on the last Thursday in November. Both countries celebrate New Years, Christmas, Easter, Valentine`s Day, and Halloween.
Food
British folks enjoy Indian food while Americans enjoy Mexican food. Portions in America are monstrous compared to Britain and restaurants offer free refills. Fast food restaurants are more creative in the States as well. British breakfasts include eggs, fried potatoes, tomatoes, sausages, mush, bacon, mushrooms, and beans, finished off with some nice English tea. American breakfasts consist of eggs, bacon, and sausage, but also include pancakes/waffles/french toast as well as hash browns, biscuits & gravy, maybe some eggs benedict, and some fruit with bitter black coffee to drink.
Clubs
In the United States, Americans dress very casually in clubs. Men wear t-shirts and cargo shorts while females wear tank tops and shorts/skirts. In England, the British dress more formally, often in the types of clothing you would see only at American special events. In England, quite a bit of people dance their hearts out while in America, you can see folks chatting rather than dancing and sipping on their drinks.
