The Obon holiday is over, and we are seeing a lot of people for the first time in a while. Now is a good chance to practice the expressions we use in these situations.お盆休みが終わり、久しぶりにたくさんの人が訪れます。これらの状況で使用する表現を練習する良い機会です！
How was your Obon? お盆はどうでしたか？
– Pretty quiet. I didn’t do much. How about you?
私はあまり何もしませんでした。あなたはどう？
– Very relaxing. とてもリラックスしました。
It was nice to have a few days off.数日休んで良かったです。
– I had to work very day, unfortunately.
残念ながら、私は毎日働かなければなりませんでした。
What did you get up to during Obon?お盆中何をしましたか？
– Not much. I just stayed home and enjoyed the AC.
特に何も。私は家にいてゲームを楽しみました。
Did you get away anywhere in Obon?どこか遊びに行きましたか？
– Yes, I went to (…..) for (…) days.はい。~に行って、~に〇〇日間です。
– No, I just stayed around here. It was too hot to go anywhere, anyway.
いいえ、近場だけですね。どこかに行くにも暑かったので行きませんでした。
