The 2019 Rugby World Cup is the ninth Rugby World Cup, and is being held in Japan from 20 September to 2 November. This is the first time the tournament is being held in Asia, and outside the traditional heartland of rugby union.The opening match of the 2019 Rugby World Cup took place last night at the Ajinomoto Stadium in Chōfu, Tokyo, between japan and Russia. It was a exciting game which japan won! The final match will be held at the Nissan Stadium in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture.
This is an exciting time for Japan and all Japanese. Shizuoka will host games so we all have an opportunity to watch and experience the excitement. We also can meet and speak to many people from other countries.
