I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado, but for the past five years I lived in Colorado Springs.
コロラド州出身のため、コロラド州の紹介をしてくれています。
It is a smaller city about an hour south of Denver and is home to the United States Olympic Training Center.While there are lots of places that athletes can train across America, Colorado Springs is a location that provides some unique benefits. The air in the state of Colorado is very thin due to the high elevation, therefore athletes` bodies are forced to work a lot harder. Through training in this difficult environment, their bodies are able to become stronger and more resilient than those training in other places. The elevation of Colorado Springs is 6,035 ft (1,839 m) above sea level.
Colorado Springs is also home to one of the most famous mountains in the United States: Pike`s Peak.It is often called America`s Mountain and stands at an elevation of 14,115 ft (4,302 m). You can take a train up to the top of the mountain and from this perspective, you can see 5 states!
