⚾話題のWBC⚾
Last month Japan won the World Baseball Classic tournament final, beating the USA, and capturing the hearts of both Japanese baseball fans and non-fans alike. While I am not a big fan of baseball, I was thrilled to hear of this fantastic achievement.

⚾スポーツ観戦って楽しいですよね⚾
My baseball knowledge runs to having heard of Otani Shohei and Ichiro and that is about it. Having said that, I would like to experience the atmosphere of a live game, and would relish the chance to watch a team such as Hiroshima Carp in their own stadium. Feeling the passion of the fans, without the love of a sport, is always an exciting and worthwhile experience.

⚽Davidの好きなスポーツは？🏀
When it comes to my interest in sports football and basketball are my two favourites. The Boston Celtics are my favourite basketball team and this year they are having a strong season. Last year they got to the NBA Finals but ultimately lost to the Golden State Warriors. I hope they can go one better in 2023 and finally win the NBA once more!

As many students at Matsuyama Nova are aware, I am a huge Arsenal Football Club supporter. I first began supporting Arsenal when I was a college student. My grandparents were originally from London and so I have always felt an affinity towards the London football clubs. It was when watching Arsenal on TV, over twenty years ago, clad in their famous red and white shirts that I fell in love with them. Their football was majestic, skillful and beautiful to watch.

⚽130年以上の歴史があるサッカーチーム⚽
The club has a long history, over one hundred and thirty years. We are the only team to have gone through a Premier League season unbeaten and have won more FA Cups than any other team. This year we are number one in the Premier League and could be champions… It has been stressful but I hope and pray we do it!

イギリス出身のDavidに怒られてしまいそうですね😓
