今年は映画大好きShaneがおすすめのクリスマス映画「Home Alone」を紹介致します。有名なのでご覧になっている方も多いと思いますが、まだの方はぜひご覧になってみてくださいね。そして感想をレッスンでShaneと話してみてください！
🎄🎅Home Alone（ホームアローン）🎄🎅
Before he would go on to helm the first two Harry Potter films, Chris Columbus was best known for directing this warm and sentimental family comedy that is now widely considered to be one of the greatest and most popular Christmas films of all time.
The film would make a star out of 10-year-old Macaulay Culkin, who plays Kevin McCallister in the movie – a boy who is left home alone in the days leading up to Christmas after his family accidentally forget him at home when departing for their Christmas vacation to Paris (and bizarrely fail to realize his absence only until they are halfway to Paris on their flight). The film mostly succeeds as a comedy thanks to its performances, lighthearted approach from director Chris Columbus and its clever gags. Culkin gives that rare child-performance that doesn’t grate on the nerves. He’s charming, likable and genuinely funny. He also succeeds in conveying the emotion necessary in several of the films more sentimental scenes. The films true ace in the hole (or two aces rather) is the memorable double act of Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern as dumb-witted bandits with their sights set on the McCallister home. The scenes involving Kevin battling wits with the two robbers are the films highlights and are executed
