今回は、新田辺校のDale先生がお花見に関するメッセージを作成してくれました！お花見について英語で説明したい時に使えるフレーズもたくさんありますので、チェックしてみてくださいね～😄
Hanami (花見) means “flower viewing”, but many people use it to talk about seeing the cherry blossoms (桜) during Spring. People usually go to parks and rivers to see the cherry blossoms. In Kyoto, for example, the most popular places to do Hanami are Maruyama Park, Umekoji Park and Kamogawa.
英語で花見を直訳するとflower viewingだそうですが、この単語はほとんど使われず、picnicと表現するのが一般的だそうです😲ネイティブへ一歩近づける知識ですね！🔍
The last time I did Hanami with my friends we went to Kamogawa. It was very beautiful seeing all the cherry blossom trees near the river. We also ate a lot of delicious food and drank alcohol there. Before we drank, we would all lift our cans and glasses up and then say “Cheers” (乾杯) to each other. The only problem we had was that there were many birds flying around and trying to steal our food. That and also getting hay fever too!
