Hello! My name is Jeff and I was born in California in a city that is close to San Francisco. I lived there all of my life until moving here to Japan. In college, I studied music but I changed to computer science because the internet was growing so fast back then. Installing and fixing computers was my job for many years but technology changes quickly so it was time for a new career. However, music has always been the love of my life and I will continue to play whenever I can.
Even though I have been here in Japan for several years, I still find that there is something new and exciting around every corner. The cities seem to have an endless supply of interesting shops and restaurants. Exploring the large variety of small businesses around every train station makes each stop feel like going to a new town. Besides walking in the city, hiking has always been a great pastime for me and every new trail I follow seems to have secret wonders that I have to photograph.
Teaching is a fun and interesting job, and I am enjoying my work. I hope to meet you soon!
