本日はTiffany先生にお盆のお休みをどう過ごしたか聞いてみました♪
During the Obon holiday I went to Korea for two weeks!I went to Seoul, Busan, Daejeon and Jeju. I met up with my friend from America and we traveled together. It was really fun because it was my first time in Korea so I was so excited to see new things. I tried wearing a Hanbok (traditional clothing) for the first time and while I thought it was so beautiful, I felt it was incredibly hot. It made me want to try wearing a Kimono when I came back to Japan.
I also got to go to a summer music festival in Daejeon called Waterbomb, it had Korean RnB, rap and pop artists. I saw some of my favorite rappers there! It was also so crazy because it was basically an all-day water fight as well.
Going to Jeju was my first time having an island vacation. The vibes of the island was so calming and I wish I could go back. I went to the beaches, hiking, scuba diving, and visited many different attractions (such as the Snoopy Garden). I ate so many tangerines when I was there.
My favorite meal of the trip was in Jeju as well, when I tried the a black pork. I also drove internationally for the first time there as well, and thankfully it was very easy and people in Korea drive on the same side of the road as Americans.
In Busan, I went to the beaches and many different cultural villages. My favorite part was walking alongside the beach and listening to the many buskers preform.
Finally in Seoul, I went shopping almost everyday 😵💫. While I had fun buying new clothes and skincare I don’t think my wallet can forgive me. There are also so many cafes in Korea, so I frequently went cafe hopping as well.I am glad to be back in Japan though, and I look forward to exploring more of Japan in the future!
