One of my hobbies is playing fighting games and on February 28th I went to a small dead or alive 6 tournament in Takadanobaba. The tournament is monthly and this month only had five people so we did a round robin. A round robin is when every player plays against each other. The player with the best win loss record wins. I was tied with another player with three wins and one loss, so we had a tie breaker match.

I won the tie breaker so I won the tournament

The tournament is always live streamed on YouTube and the commentator always interviews the winner. I was interviewed in Japanese, but it was hard for me to hear the interviewer’s questions because of all the sounds in the game center. This made it pretty hard for me to completely understand his questions. The interviewer used a couple English words sometimes to try to help me answer the questions.

The tournament was fun and I’m happy I won, but I need to study Japanese more so I can do the interview without struggling.
