Hello everyone,
My name is Joseph and I found Lesson 5D-23 from the Level 5 winter textbook very useful. Learning how to ask for permission and make requests using ‘Can I…?’ and ‘Can you…?’ is important.
For example, as the weather gets warmer, the temperature inside the classroom might become uncomfortable. Please let the NOVA instructors know by saying:
“It’s hot in here. Can you turn on the air conditioner?”
“It’s cold in here. Can you turn off the air conditioner?”
