Hi, I’m Alahna! I’m from the South of England. I grew up in a small town called Sandhurst and then moved to the port city, Portsmouth. Portsmouth is close to the sea and has many beaches. I love living by the sea as the air feels fresher, and life feels more relaxing. I studied Literature at University in Brighton. I have loved reading books since I was a child, and became more interested in writing my own stories during school. Writing stories is one of my favourite hobbies, along with playing video games, and listening to music. I love listening to rock music, Kpop, and Jpop. My favourite artists are Pvris, Dreamcatcher, and BiSH.
I moved to Japan in May. I have only been here three months so far but I am enjoying it a lot. In my free time I like visiting castles and shrines. The historical buildings in Japan are so different from the ones in England, and very beautiful. Japanese food is delicious! My favourite food at the moment is taiyaki. I love sweets! I am also trying to learn Japanese in my free time, so I understand how difficult learning another language is. Please don’t be afraid to make mistakes or ask questions!
