ニューヨークでは数学の先生として働いていたのだとか、、、😲💕
そして、日本では英語の先生としてNOVAの仲間入りをしたAndrew先生💯
皆様お気づきかもわかりませんが、Andrew先生は日本人のお母様を持つハーフです💛
そこで早速ですが、Andrew先生よりコメントをいただきました💌🎶
💬 Self introduction 💬
Hello！My name is Andrew. I am half-Japanese from my mom’s side of the family. I am from Westhampton Beach, New York. I graduated about 2 years ago from Stony Brook University with a Bachelors of Science and a Master of Arts in Teaching in Mathematics, becoming a New York State Certified Math Teacher for grades 7 through 12. Before coming to Japan I was working as a Substitute Teacher as well as working for a company called iCAMP, teaching after school programs involving Science, Engineering and Technology. My desire to gain teaching skills in a different country as well as experience the language and culture that makes up a part of who I am is what drove me to move to Japan and teach English with NOVA.
⚽ My favorite things to do 🤿
My favorites sports include soccer(football), tennis, and volleyball. I also like swimming and scuba diving. I also like playing video games on my Nintendo Switch or playing Pokemon Go. I also enjoy watching shows/movies on Netflix as well as anime, such as One Piece. I also enjoy cooking and baking.
Dear Oroshimachi students💌
For those that I’ve already had the pleasure of meeting and working with, I would just like to say thanks for welcoming me to Oroshimachi. I’ve had a great time so far teaching English and I hope you enjoyed having me in your classroom. For everyone else, I look forward to meeting and working with you. I am here to help you learn English and I hope to continue to make it fun and enjoyable.
