👨 Hello, my name is Zack Hunt. Pleasure to make your acquaintance.

😀 Where are you from?
👨 I’m from Kentucky in America.🍗

😀 What job did you have before NOVA?
👨 Before working at NOVA I studied Japanese for about a year in Kyoto.📝
Before that I worked as a human resourse manager and a welder at Toyota.📋🔧

😀 Why did you come to Japan?
👨 I first visited Japan in 2021 following the tsunami as a volunteer to help.
After that I fell in love with the country and people and it became my dream to live here.🗾💖

😀 What’s your hobby?
👨 I enjoy competing in a variety of different things. In high school and college I ran track and field and did high jump as well as playing basketball and American football. I also enjoying playing in video game tournaments and have played in Magic the gathering tournaments also.🏀

😀 What’s your favorite Japanese food?
👨 This is a tough question because I enjoy basically all Japanese foods.
If I had to choose, though, I would say 10-wari soba with soba-yu in the winter is the best. Otherwise, sushi and more specifically salmon sushi is my favorite.🍣
