本日はドイツ出身の講師Dominikがドイツでのちょっと変わった入学祝いの風習を教えてくれましたので、ご紹介致します！
The school cone: How the start of school is celebrated in Germany
🎉学校のコーン：ドイツでは学校の始まりをどのように祝っているのでしょうか🎉
Some children look forward to it, others are rather shy. But it inevitably comes: the first day of school. The start of school in Germany is celebrated with many rituals. One of the most important is the school cone.
学校が始まる事を楽しみにしている子もいれば、むしろ恥ずかしがる子もいます。しかし、避けて通れないのが学校の初日です。ドイツでは、学校の開始を多くの儀式で祝います。中でも重要なのは、学校のコーンです。
In Germany and Greece, school starts these days for many first-graders.
In Germany, the “start of school” has become more and more of a real festive day in recent years, which is really “celebrated” on a Saturday. On Saturday, because then relatives, grandparents and godparents of the child can arrive from near and far.
ドイツやギリシャでは、多くの小学1年生がこの日から学校に通い始めます。
ドイツでは、近年、「学校の始まり」は、土曜日に本当に「祝う」日になっています。土曜日には、親戚、祖父母、子供の名付け親（南のGöttiでのみ呼ばれています）が近くから遠くまで来ることができるからです。
It begins with a welcome speech by the principal in the auditorium of the elementary school, then there are a few demonstrations by the students, finally the children are called for the first time and, together with their new class teacher, go to their new classroom. Then the children learn a song, perhaps in the style of “Yes yes yes, I’m here, in school in the first year”, are told a story and are allowed back outside to the relatives waiting in the schoolyard.
小学校の講堂での校長先生の歓迎の言葉から始まり、生徒たちによるいくつかのデモンストレーションが行われ、最後に子どもたちが初めて呼ばれ、新しいクラスの先生と一緒に新しい教室へと向かいます。 そして、子供たちは「はいはい、1年生になりました」というような歌を覚え、話を聞かされ、校庭で待っている親戚のところに戻されます。
You only get a school cone once in a lifetime, and for that reason alone it is something very special. All children who start school in Germany receive a school cone when they start school. This custom only exists in Germany, and the school cone is intended to sweeten the children’s start into the serious side of life.
学校のコーンは一生に一度しかもらうことができないので、それだけでも特別なものです。ドイツでは、学校に通うすべての子どもたちが、入学時にスクールコーンを受け取ります。この習慣があるのはドイツだけで、コーンで子供たちの今後の生活への緊張をすこしでもやわらげたいという思いがあります。
Since the parents fill the school cone is quite different. In any case, sweets such as candy and chocolate belong in it, but also other small surprises such as a toy car, a deck of cards, a small stuffed animal and school supplies can be found in the bag.
親がコーンを作るので、子どもによって中身はかなり違います。いずれにしても、キャンディやチョコレートなどのお菓子はもちろん、車のおもちゃやトランプ、小さなぬいぐるみ、学用品など、ちょっとしたサプライズも入っています。
このドイツの入学祝いであるコーンはドイツ語ではSchuhltüteというそうです。
