Hello! Thanks for letting me interview you, I hope you’ve been enjoying your first Japanese summer so far.
First, please tell us a little about yourself. (まず始めに自己紹介をしてください)
Hi!
I’m Nolan from Canada.
I enjoy hiking, skiing and outdoor activities.
My favorite food is sukiyaki and I love most other Japanese foods.

What brought you here?
Have you found anything interesting since you have been here?

Japan’s nature and food brought me here.
I’ve been hiking in many beautiful mountains and skied in Nagano.
The beautiful shrines and temples also amazed me in the fall with the red maple leaves.

What made you want to become a teacher?（どうして先生になりたかったのですか？）
I thought it would be interesting to share my language with people in Japan and see the progress of my students.
That sounds awesome. Okay, last question. What do you want to do while you are here in Japan? （日本にいる間にやってみたいことは何ですか？）
I want to experience more of Japan’s nature, especially driving in next winter’s ski season.
