Hello, my name’s Philip. I come from a county in the North of England called South Yorkshire. My home town, which only has 20,000 people, is called Wombwell. It’s a very convenient place to live and incredibly beautiful, but there isn’t much to do there. When I was in college and university, I studied about animals, everything from the environment and climate change, to what an animal needs to survive. As much as I like animals, I don’t see myself working with them as a career at the moment. I’ve decided my current calling is education.
I moved to Japan in February, and I have been enjoying every day since. I have spent a lot of time exploring my current city by foot and discovering lots of interesting things. I’ve spent some time walking in the countryside, seeing many different animals like birds and lizards. On my days off, I sometimes visit my friends to eat at resteraunts or walk around shrines and temples.
If you have a suggestion about where I should visit, or want to know about my interests, please ask me! I look forward to teaching you!
